How many cameras do I need?
The size of your facility will determine how many cameras should be installed. One KidsVision server unit can stream up to sixteen individual cameras. As many servers as your center requires can be installed to ensure capturing of all viewing areas; cameras are only installed in public viewing areas that you designate.

How much will the KidsVision system cost our facility?
There is NO UP FRONT COST for the equipment, installation, or website for the childcare facility. KidsVision will bill the childcare provider a monthly service fee for the system and maintenance depending on the individual facility. Ordinarily this fee is passed back to the parents in slightly higher tuition rates or subscription fees, in affect the KidsVision system PAYS FOR ITSELF.

How does the installation work?

Is the video being recorded?
Yes, one of the advantages of the KidsVision system is that it doubles as a security surveillance system. This allows for the childcare provider to view previously recorded video. With our unique interface, search video by date, time, and location! It’s that easy to find and permanently store an event that needs a second look. Although each center is unique, our KidsVision video system will typically record one month of video. In addition, video can be permanently stored for future review.

How will I introduce the KidsVision system to my parents?
To help answer parent questions and concerns, KidsVision can conduct onsite a free, no obligation parent demonstration and parent polling. In addition, once the KidsVision system is installed, we will provide you parent guides, FAQ sheets, marketing materials, and a full range of technical support.

What is included with my website?
The childcare facility will receive an individual fully customizable website and domain name (ex. www.mydaycare.com). You can post rates, events, schedules, announcements, and other information about your center which is available to your existing families and potential customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will also receive e-mail addresses for you and your staff.
