Does the video require any special software for me to install?
No, our KidsVision system only requires an Internet connection and one of the popular browsers available (ex. Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator). You have the option of downloading an Active X control or using a Java applet. Both options, will automatically start the video in your browser.

Using a modem, will the video be extremely slow and fragmented?
No, our KidsVision system uses special MPEG4 technology which can be viewed over a standard 28.8 modem connection without significant quality loss or delayed motion. Read about the KidsVision difference here.

I cannot connect to the Internet?
Check your physical phone line connection or cable modem. If you are still unable to go online, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may be experiencing technical problems. (i.e. AOL, Compuserve, BellSouth, TimeWarner's RoadRunner).

I am unable to view the daycare video?
First, make sure that you are connected to the internet. If so, check your browser version or your version of Microsoft Windows. For the Active X feed, you should use Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. You can view the video using our Java Plugin, from Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher or Netscape Navigator 6.0 or higher. You should use a computer with Microsoft Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP installed. You can upgrade your browser here.

I'm using Interent Explorer, but the Active X control never downloads?
Some computer networks use a firewall and block the ports which our video streams over. Sometimes they may even prevent users from downloading Active X controls. Try using the Java applet version to see if this resolves the problem.

When I access the video, I receive a message about Decoder Not Found?
Our KidsVision system uses MPEG 4 technology, most computers are preconfigured to support this technology. However, if you are using an older system, you may need to download the MPEG4 Codec or upgrade your version of Windows Media Player. Click here for instructions on installing the MPEG4 Codec.
